Welcome to the Yonkers Police Athletic League...

The Yonkers Police Athletic League (PAL)
Located in the Iris & Martin Walshin Center, has been bringing the police &
kids together for more than 50 years. We provide programs and
an open gym for community youths. Through sports & educational/cultural
activities, police officers work with children, guiding them toward a
mature and responsible adulthood.

Your Event

Spring is just a couple of weeks away... but Spring weather is another story! Events do not just happen, they are planned. Please add this site into your plans for advertising. This site is free to all who use the PAL for their event. We are within the first THREE results of just about every major search engine! I have invested a great deal of time to give the PAL a wonderful way to present itself to the world. "I have built it, and they DO come". Just check with the Statue of Liberty at the bottom of this page to see where they come from. So please allow me to give your event enough time on the internet to build up a following. I need at the very least to be given all of the information ONE month before the day of your event.

One day after I wrote in this Blog about supporting the PAL I received the following: Dine In or Take Out at California Pizza Kitchen @ 365 Central Park Avenue in Scarsdale NY (914) 722-0600 and if you present the flier attached to the bottom of this page on March 22nd, 2011 (all day), 20% of your check will go to support the Boy's 12U Year old Baseball Team at the Yonkers PAL! Pizza & PAL were made for each other!

Support PAL Events

You can support the PAL by attending events held there. It's a great way to show the event sponsors that the PAL is an affordable venue. On March 26th the Baseball/Softball program at the PAL will be holding BINGO from 7pm - 11pm. Show up and play. Bring some friends. You will be helping to support the PAL.

The Yonkers PAL building is a converted 1916 National Guard Armory. The large footprint and it's spacious  interior allow many diverse projects to be run for our youths at the same time. This behemoth of a structure is the Second largest building in Westchester, just after the County Center!
